For centuries, Raksi has been crafted in mountain villages, passed down through generations by mothers and grandmothers, and shared in moments of triumph, ritual, and celebration. Made from an ancient super grain—millet—our grandmother’s recipe honors the craftsmanship of Nepali women.

Distilled from 100% organic millet, this heritage white whiskey is for those who seek not just a drink, but an experience.

Meet the team/History:

The idea behind Raksi came from a celebratory moment with many of our closest friends. As we were in a cabin in Colorado drinking whiskey, we reminisced on the wonderful and bold taste of Raksi in Nepal. And that was the lightbulb - we saw an opportunity to share this amazing and unrenowned spirit with the world. We made this dream a reality and today, we bring you this spirit with the purest of ingredients and intentions so you can enjoy and feel a taste of Nepal.

History/Origin:

Our whiskey, or Raksi as it’s known in Nepal, has been traditionally made for thousands of years by mothers and grandmothers on the majestic mountainsides of Nepal as a drink of celebration. Many unique family recipes have been passed down for generations. Its traditionally been a home distilled beverage made from a super grain called millet. Raksi today remains a staple for Nepalese culture, and we are happy to introduce it to the rest of the world.
