History/Origin:
Our whiskey, or Raksi as it’s known in Nepal, has been traditionally made for thousands of years by mothers and grandmothers on the majestic mountainsides of Nepal as a drink of celebration. Many unique family recipes have been passed down for generations. Its traditionally been a home distilled beverage made from a super grain called millet. Raksi today remains a staple for Nepalese culture, and we are happy to introduce it to the rest of the world.
